Hi there, my name is Nigel and I'm 23 from shropshire. Nice to meet everyone I've joined the forum as I see it quite useful and could be a big help (advice wise) for the future! I am half Filipino myself, my dad and Nanay celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary next month! And after a recent vacation to the Philippines I've fallen in love with the place all over again! Anyways Salamat for accepting me
Welcome to the forum Nigel. I'm sure you will get plenty advice here and that you will give plenty advice also?
Interesting to see some half Filipinos, Nigel, on the forum. My daughter, at the age of 2.5 years is following close behind you, a half Filipina herself.
Welcome here Nigel, yes it it good to see some real British Filipino's here on the forum My son and daughter are too Filipino Brits
As you may well imagine, Shropshire is a County. Quite larg-ish and extremely rural. Bucolic, really... A normal county is formed by numerous Cities, Hamlets, villages and other places of outstanding beauty, or not, whichever the case may be. I was only asking in which particular place he lives., as I find myself having most of Shropshire as a sales area and I may well know the place, so a small meet could be arranged.
Welcome fellow 50-50! My grandmother and step-grandfather (is there such a thing? Hahahha...) lived in Herefordshire, which is just south of Shropshire I believe. Shropshire borders Wales too, and I'm headed for the latter next month. So pretty close! But apologies about me asking, but anything great you could say about Shropshire? From what I've read, it's kind of a quiet place. Too quiet. Hahahahaha....
Shropshire has some lovely towns and countryside. Shrewsbury is a pleasant enough place for a weekend.
Judging by your profile information, you should should know the area I'm from quite well! Haha! From the quiet town of Oswestry.. So just down the road from you haha
Yeah I've been to Hereford a few times and just like Shropshire, it's very rural and lots of countryside. There's always plenty to do in Shropshire, mostly more on the scenic side. Other places are a bit busier but mostly countryside, so fields of sheep and cows really haha
@knightstrike will be okay there then, he likes sheep, even bringing his own special wellies from the Philippines he told us in a previous thread. Sorry, couldn't resist
I knew it! I was already expecting you or John to make that joke. You old cheeky nutter! Don't worry old man. Don't be jealous. I'll bring you some too. A sheep missing some teeth just how you like it. Hahahhahahaha...
Living in Wales for over 40 years, I heard them all, and helped invent some........... So, please, lets keep it within the parameters of a family forum......... Huh???
Its one of those things though Dom, sometimes you just cant resist especially if someone has cued it up nicely for you in one of their posts.
