Last time i did the postal service visa application but didn't do online.
Is the online application is the only way to do it now? And then send the documents by post?
    Can anybody reply please.
Also if my visa runs out on the 9th of Feb 2019,when is the last day to do the online application and send the documents?
Thanks in advance.I really need your help.
    Cheers.

There is no more application by post, you’ll have to do an online application via the uk gov link and submit documents and have biometrics taken through a third party agency service point partnered with UKVI called Sopra Steria.

You will have to register with them as part of the visa application. When I have tried the existing service, there were no available slots for any of the premium service centres for the next 45 days (they mentioned there would be limited slots still up to January 2019) so I selected the third party option. Still the same services though, standard processing is 8 weeks and super priority option is decided within next working day.

Also I’m sure you would have been aware by now but I’ll mention anyway that Home Office doubled the charge for migrants to use NHS starting today. IHS = £1000 for 2.5 years within UK.

I have seen in one of the links about this Sopra Steria ... but does the link on this can be found right after you finish your online application or it is a Separate link that the applicant has to find?

You will be directed to the sopra steria site to book your appointment when you have paid standard/super priority and submitted your application. I availed the super priority, FLRm approved.

    Hi there,
Are there any guidelines available for the on line FLR(2) application process as knowing the questions and there order beforehand would allow me to gather all of my information together before logging on?

just log in--create an a/c and have a dummy run through it--even if the answers are guesswork. you can go back--change; improve; delete and it gives you access to all the questions. there are guidlines built into it.

    Hi bigmac,
I've already started the application on behalf of my wife.
I'm partway through Personal Information and haven't yet seen any help or guidelines.
Every time I've logged out they've sent my wife a link to log in next time.

so--i assume you used your wifes email address ? when youve finished with this practice run you might need to create a new email address if youre going to start a new application.

They are pretty much the same as the first application only updated (as you will be applying in the UK) have a lookat this link https://www.gov.uk/uk-family-visa/partner-spouse and the section headed Information you must provide) that will give you a good start

    Hi,
    Thank you for your help.
I've managed to complete the form and have come to the pay section. Do I pay the NH surcharge at £1000 online irrespective of how I finish off the application process i.e. by post or personal visit?
