Just came across this

Settlement visa increase from £956 to £1195

A £239 increase which is 25%

Am I reading that right?

This is the one for a "spouse visa" isn't it?

I'm back to work now to pay for this

Its correct, its a very costly business bringing the loved ones here without doubt

Tell me about it, I have only just come to realise that the Immigration Healthcare Surcharge is £200/year and not a one off £200. Admittedly that was my own fault but its all adding up.
Still, there is no way around it so its a stiff cup of tea and back to it.
