How did I not listen to this band's music before? I knew he did this excellent track on Peaky Blinders:
I think you said you no longer listened to music with words... that you preferred all that techno stuff... I am as a guilty as you... I never used to listen to Van Morrison (despite him being on the Woodstock album!) but I can play him all day now ... only listened to a bit of Nick Cave coz a friend recommended I did!
i've not listened to Techno very much, more ambient / drone for the last 25 years. Sounds like these: I've started to listen to some music with words again, perhaps I will get back into Van Morrison as well - used to listen to him a lot in the past, John Hiatt too. What comes around, goes around , Van M. wasn't at Woodstock btw, not the event in 1969 anyway. I was only 13 yo at that time but I remember that it seemed very exciting and wished I could have experienced it.
I think I had a picture of that guy with red hair and probably confusing VM with Joe Cocker! But... Can you be sure:
https://www.woodstock.com/lineup/ I suppose he could have done the song before the festival happened. Looks like he performed at another place but moved to Woodstock and into the house that "The Band" vacated. Van Morrison, Bob Dylan, and the Brand New Day — Deus Ex Musica
