Hi folks, another Brit here, live in Angeles city. I have a wife and daughter. I've been in the Philippines for most of the last 23 years, with a brief 8 year move back to the UK. Been back in the PI for five years now and get on a lot better than I did first time round. A glimpse of reality when we lived in England must have changed my mind set.

Thanks guys, back in town now, been busy building a car port/pergola for the wife. Weather is a touch hot for manual labour, but it has to be done.
What area of AC do you live in and are the homes expensive there, before i got married i use to have lots of time there lol, and wlecome to the board.
We're in Timog Park. Lived here for a few years about 15 years ago, and when we moved back here five years ago we couldn't really find anywhere better. Minimum rent is about 20,000 for a basic old house, though some places are crazy expensive. We built our own place 4 years ago, saved over a million piso in rent so far. Land prices are apparently over 6000p a sq metre now. Really glad we decided to buy when we did.
