    Having received a new BRP.

Please be aware that non-return of old/expired BRP within deadline risks a fine being imposed,
    currently £1000.

Additionally, this risk of fine was not stated in letter with which the new BRP was attached,
but was in a letter received by e-mail that had ended up in spam folder....

Hi, is the old BRP only sent back after the new one is received? I haven’t seen anything pertaining to this in my email. Also, how long did it take to receive the new BRP?

I haven’t been advised to do so, application has been all done online with the current COVID-19 situation. I’ve had to download an app to submit my documents and have my picture taken.

You certainly Do Not send it back with an application as it is the only evidence you have till your new card arrives that you have had and still have application pending the right to remain in the UK.
I cannot recall posting my wife and daughter's expired BRPs and the only relevence to returning the old BRP or face a fine is at the Applying for and granting British Citizenship and you must send your ILR BRP card

Hi Mattecube, I still having problems deciding what folders to put what information into, for example there is a folder in other documents for FINANCES on my wife's application page and there is the same folder FINANCES on my daughter's application page, do I have to upload the same documents (29 total) into both FINANCES folders or Just one I cannot find any help on the web page or the website about this?

Yes I think you are right, maybe they look at it as two different applications so the evidence needs to be presented in both, or why would they have put the folder there.
Actually there is a difference in the folder list for my wife and for my daughter.
