There are plenty of Filipino shops in London in many different areas.
Try taking a quick trip to Earls Court on the tube. Just outside the station are many Filipino shops. Grocery, restaurant, hairdresser etc
Plus of course lots of Kababayans. Could be a good source of invitations to the Christmas gatherings/events etc

    Good luck in your quest

Well, its very easy to get the train from Windsor to central London as you probably already know, I have stopped in Winsor many times, one or two days and you've done it all really.

Much better climate than Dubai, for me anyway, why not jump on the train and go up to Edinburgh and see a bit of Scotland?

I'm quite surprised you haven't already run into a few of your fellow countrymen, especially in the London area.

Anyway, enjoy yourself and relax, you might even find yourself a pleasant English chap :)
