My situation is I came to Manila in May 2023 and thought I could stay for 6 months and then get a visa, I have a Filipino partner and I support her and her 4 kids and we plan to marry-I have now checked the web site and found that after30 days I should have applied for an extension, when I went through imigration they seen my airline / flight was for 6 months and just stamped my passport, there have been some issues which I had to work on regarding houses and safety issues and repairers also my partner had a mis carrage in Sept 2023 can you help me get a visa and approx cost.
I do NOT plan to work, I am 56 and decided to retire. I do not have any convictions and have current UK security clearance which shows that I had recent in depth background check, the check that was done looks at my past and also my family,s past

Go straight away to the bureau of immigration Philippines and let them know.
Looking your situation up on Google suggests overstaying is treated not to harshly but you can expect a fine of approximately 4000 pesos for each month you’ve overstayed!
Report in as soon as you can is key

Yep, sort this straight away, as suggested above. Don't bother with money-grabbing agents (who may get you a fake stamp). Go to your nearest Immigration office.
It's going to cost you all the visa fees you should have paid after your 30 days 'waiver' was up, plus a few thou' in fines, but at least it's unlikely then that you'll be deported (and blacklisted...goodbye Philippines forever).

    Do not procrastinate sir !

Shedding a few tears in the office may help.

Yes go to your nearest BI ASAP, I have used three different offices in the past, the first one was in Cebu I had to go and buy some long Trousers as they would not admit me wearing shorts, and it was very busy, I used another BI in Puerto Princesa on Palawan, and the other was in CDO both of the latter were very friendly and reasonably quiet, so I would suggest that you go to a smaller office if you can rather than a big city one.
Explain to them why you did not realise you needed to get a visa extension, explain what your intentions are (marriage and stay in Phills) and they will issue you with the correct visa, also may I suggest you ask for an ACR card.

Copy and paste that link it will give you a list of BI Field Offices.

hey don't worry to much but you have to go to a BI ASAP and you will for sure have to pay all of the visa extension back pay, good luck.

Yes get there straight away and because you've f'ckd-up:

Put on the long trousers, proper shirt and be respectful and apologetic... they might make you sweat a little but you should be ok as you're under 1 year.

Take about 20k to be on the safe side: you'll need to pay for the ACRI card, the overstay visa and the extension etc.

Maybe take your gf too if you can so she can tell them how you got confused and are very sorry and all that.
