I think the Red Cross tend to deal with disasters and humanitarian relief, but no harm in speaking to them as I would think they are teamed up with a whole bunch of charities all doing their bit.. Oh, and keep us informed as to how that goes.
During floods as we were evacuated to the local school, the red cross would arrive and dish out relief goods, if I remember rightly the woman dishing out the goods was maybe British, or European, but she did have a British accent.
