Hey guys Can someone tell me Philippine: bank holiday, public holiday, government, election or any days when the marriage registrar will be closed in 2016.
Probably the best starting point would be Presidential Proclamation No. 1105 Declaring the regular holidays and special (non-working) days for the year 2016 http://www.gov.ph/2015/08/20/proclamation-no-1105-s-2015/ I think it's almost impossible to predict as yet which government employees will be seconded to 'election duties' What's your initial plan for wedding timing ?
I got holidays from 26th of Feb to 15th of March. So I was thinking of going to Philippines and doing all the paperwork. Also will take 3 weeks in May so we can set a date and get married Or should I just add extra 1 week in March and get married?
If you want my personal opinion I would say avoid end of April and May at all costs The election is Monday, May 9, 2016. If you can comfortably secure 3 weeks in March, even early April that would be best. IMHO
