    Hello guys!

I am currently gathering the requirements for my visa renewal which will be an indefinite leave to remain. However, there a a few things which gives me a bit of confusion and I hope you can help me with it.

Firstly, I am currently on a spouse leave to remain 5 year route visa which will expire on 28th Feb 2021. Can I apply once I've reach the 5 years stay in the UK or should I submit my application 28 days prior to my expiry date which will be not earlier than 31st of January 2021?

Secondly, I have an English test from Trinity College London and was awarded Grade 3 CEFR Level A2.1 last June 25 2018 and have used it for my FLM visa. Can I still use it for my this application? or should I take the B1 test for the settlement application.

All your response will be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you all.

    Hi and welcome
You can apply at 28 days before the 5 years landing in the UK date in your passport, eg if you landed in the UK on the 31 st of December 2015 the earliest you could apply is the 3rd December 2020.
English test level is B1 for ILR
    Good Luck

You need to apply within 28 days of the visa expiring and before it actually runs out.
