Hi All I have a GF in philippines and she is due to give birth to my baby in July. She has been to China with me and also got a 6 month multi entry tourist visa 4 UK and we both went back to Philippines after 3 weeks. I have now relocated back to UK for work reasons and would like my GF and baby to join me here , can someone please advise me the best visas etc to apply for ? Thanks
You can either go the Fiancee Visa route or the Spouse visa route. Each is rather similar though not exactly the same. One involves marriage first in the Philippines, the other marriage in the UK. You will need to satisfy a few requirements including minimum income requirement of £18600 per annum or more if the baby does not hold a UK passport. The requirements are quite daunting at first, though easy when you know how.
