Ye we plan to do the cfo on Wednesday and have it out with her work regarding her back pay then hopefully she we I’ll friday if all goes to plan
So since she’s done the seminar just to get the stamp from them. Just when I thought the stress was going haha
It’s a funny thing, I remember actually phoning the CFO at one point, from the U.K. it sounded chaotic there. I did manage to speak to someone but finished the phone call none the wiser.
I think some of the guys and girls will agree that it isn’t a bad idea for her to take some key docs with her in her hand luggage as she passes through Immigration in NAIA. This certainly used to be the case. Then it is a question of what to pack. Less in the way of shorts and t shirts and more hoodies. Though our English summer has not been bad this year. @bigmac @Mattecube ?
The seminar your wife attended was not with CFO but one required prior to issue of your marriage license. Before she can exit the country she must attend a seminar at her nearest office of the Commission for Filipinos Overseas (CFO) and receive a certificate and sticker in her Passport. These seminars are organised on a destination country-by-country basis and may not be every day.
good call there @Markham @court95 needs to get cracking on this before he books the flights. anyone any idea how long the waiting lists are for CFO seminars ?
@court95 I wasn’t convinced when you said she had done it but didn’t have time to push you on it this morning. So, yes she will need to go armed to the teeth with info about you. Or be a good liar or both. I got a call from my wife in the middle of my night to ask me a question they had asked her while she was there. That worked okay as she was able to wake me.
