    Good evening guys,

I hope that you're all well and having a wonderful weekend wherever you are. I wanted to ask when my wife and daughter submit their documents at VFS Global is there a particular type of envelope or folder that they need to put them in?

Secondly, because the application is both for my wife and daughter do they need to have separate sets of documents i.e. 2 sets of bank statements, 2 sets of property inspection reports etc etc or is one set plus the set of photocopied documents enough when submitting both applications?

Thank you guys for your continued assistance, its very much appreciated.

I assume that if your child is under 16 then they will be on the mothers application so only need to have one set of documents.

When submitting the documents just bind/tie them all together, do not use folders or sleeves, they just dump the application into a post bag ready to be shipped to the British Embassy. So no folders or binders, make sure nothing can drop out and try to organise the papers to correspond with the application run list. Put an index page on the front stating what you have supplied for each sub section of the application.

    Good luck :)

    Good evening Timmers!!

What would we do without you??? You are a fountain of knowledge!!! The application run list...where can i find it? Could you possibly send me a link so I can email it over to my wife.

    Thanks again Timmers!!!

None of us here are a fountain of knowledge Charles we just use our own experiences of what our loved ones went through during the process, for example my wife said it was a waste of time making the application nice and tidy because they just chucked everything in a post bag.

When I say the running order I mean start with the beginning of the application and submit the documents in the order of the application forms wherever possible, that way they do not have to dig around too much, anything to keep them happy :)

What I'm trying to say is make it as easy as possible for them to follow the application. We did the same on our FLR application (premium service where you attend in person) and I could see when the case officer was going through the application that he was finding it easy to process which cannot be a bad thing.

Just a cheap ring binder will do. Just to keep the papers in order for the journey. Nothing fancy required. As Timmers says they remove the papers from the binding.

    Hi Timmers,

Just a quick question, with regards to the Financial Requirements form, do i need to fill 2 out, one for my daughter and one for my wife, or is the one for my wife enough? I only ask since there are questions on it that don't make sense for a child, such as have you ever met your sponsor, or when did your relationship with your sponsor begin?
