Hi All, so My fiancée maybe(depending on Visa Decision so on tender hooks atm) coming over from Philippines on the Fiancée Visa and we did not have to pay any IHC payment ATM,.....wedding may not be for a few months plus the spouse visa decision time once married, so during that time she will not have any health cover or very minimal NHS health cover...can anyone recommend a good private health care cover they have used.. this information is so confusing to find. Have been advised safety wings, but if anyone can recommend any they may have, specifically, used for this purpose I would be very grateful.
Just a quick update to all, good news is my fiancée has got her Visa and will be arriving soon in Feb 2024 and also on the Insurance front, for all those in similar position website is genki.world is the travel health insurance, i have gone for bit expensive, but only till I get her on spouse visa after which NHS will cover her, which I hope, on both, she will not need. I had to do a lot more digging and found this suggested on another expat forum, which seems to have a good trust pilot review rating... Good luck to all going through the pain of the UK Visa System.. Its a long, expensive and drawn out process with no Guarantee's
