I'm wondering whether or not to use the premium service for the second FLR especially given that the applications do not seem to be taking that long, should just miss the new fees.

I can fully understand people going for the premium service, its good to get it done and dusted in a day and £400 for the experience isn't that much money in the grand scheme of things.

I just don't see what benefit there is on using it on the second FLR unless you need the passport in a hurry.

Plus it's extra hassle, and, if self employed you lose a day's work.

I'm not a ltd company, so things may differ. I am a sole trader and this needs to be sent in annually.

I'm sure he would do the same. It is a declaration of earnings and expenses for the year. His accountant would know. Tell him to check with his accountant.

I would let your sponsor sort all this out. It's his job, not yours.
