RE uk spouse visa cover letter

Hi. We are about to submit our application for Uk spouse visa. My question is do we have to write a separate cover letter for each points we want to explain like:

Bank and cash savings

Passport : explaining history of several passports

Our proof of accommodation we were living together from the start to the the day of our application i.e year 2014 to present (as we have moved from places)

Or we can write one cover letter includinng all points?

Please help! Thank you.

We wrote a one page cover letter explaining how and where we met including dates, our plans for the future and any points we wanted to clarify. We also explained how we intended to support ourselves without needing public funds ( I am in my sixties) so we thought relevant to us.
