Hi all, My wife's Filipino passport expires in November 2013 Where can she renew it in the UK? If we visit the Philippines before then can she renew it there?
Philippine embassy in London as far as I know Mike, I think they are the same as other countries where you can renew your passport early, same should be true in the Phils but I would not be comfortable with processing times in the Phils and the visit to the DFA is a bit of a pain, last time I did it was for James and Janna's passports.
oss is right. I know that there have been some big difficulties and delays in Philippines of late with passports (both new and renewals) the latest news updates say that the problems are being resolved but...... The Philippine Embassy in London no longer do their own passport renewals and now send off to Manila for processing. The time for this used to be around 12 weeks. Unfortunately whichever route you take is looking a bit tight. I strongly suggest you have a discussion with Philippine Embassy in London and see just what their realistic current turnaround time is and if they could expedite for in any way.

Our lot over there are not much better Janna's British passport will need to be renewed in a year or so and you can no longer do that in the Philippines the application has to get sent off to Bangkok now I think, at least that's what we were told when we were urged by the embassy to pick up Janna's passport as quickly as possible in 2009.
