Hey all! I'm still waiting for the result of my fiancée visa application, but I just want to know if I'll be needing something else aside from the visa so I can migrate to the UK. I've seen some posts talking about a CFO seminar that I'd need to attend and some CFO stickers? Do I need these, and anything else? Thanks for anyone who can help~ <3

Yes you will need to do the CFO and have a TB Test - which you can now do in Cebu or Manila or a couple of other places

Ah yes, I already got the TB test. So is the CFO seminar the only thing I'm missing (aside from the visa, of course)? Or am I forgetting something else~?

When I applied for my fiancée/ Marriage visa, it was required to have atleast A1 English test, then I used the same certificate when I applied for my 1st FLRM, but that was 2017 .

Yes you can get it done up front but it is not needed for the fiancée visa, when the applicant is ready to apply for spouse visa this is when it’s first required

I already have a visa (yay!!!), TB certificate, already passed the English test, got the CFO seminar scheduled (I think I'll receive the certificate afterwards), and got the plane tickets~ Am I still missing anything~?

I dunno if the CFO certificate is the same as the sticker that I've read somewhere in this forumsite.. Also, I've seen websites that say I need a travel insurance, but then again, others say UK doesn't require one? Do I also need the vaccine certificate issued by the Department of Health PH? What about an Affidavit of Support?

Lastly, just a bit of a tangent, but my fiancé's gonna come over to accompany during the flight. I read that he needs to sign into the eTravel website prior to his flight to the Philippines, but I dunno if he should present proof of vaccination as well~

    Congratulations.

Visa and CFO are main requirements.

Travel Insurance is optional and primarily to cover any medical needs. Won't be cheap for a six month period and generally if got in philippines wont cover a lot in terms of cost. Only issue is if have to use NHS before married and spouse visa granted (IHS charge is paid as part of this application) then will have to pay for NHS treatment. If dont pay then can effect future visa and citizenship applications.

Dont believe vaccination certificates are required any more either entering or exiting philippines or UK

Etravel is a requirement going to philipines and seem to remember supposed to fill out leaving as well or it might be only filipinos only requirement leaving

Affadavit of support should not be required. If I remember correctly it is only a requirement for Filipinos sponsoring other filipinos.

Etravel is for everyone - I had to do it recently.

Affidavit of Support came up a little while ago: believe it used to be a common requirement for US (not any other country) BUT Bureau of Immigration are/were entitled to ask for it if they wish...

    CFO Sticker:

My interpretation of that is that you can present the paper certificate if you have one or failing that register online to obtain the new digital certificate and sticker.

If I were in your shoes which I may well be one day, I would try and register online to see if I can "convert" my wife's paper certificate to a digital record before leaving for peace of mind.

Do you need eTravel when leaving the Philippines?

All passengers arriving in the Philippines (international arrivals) and Filipino travelers departing from the country (PH) must register on the E-Travel portal before their flights

Is eTravel still required in the Philippines in 2024?

For a seamless travel clearance, one QR code per passenger shall be used in the e-Travel System starting May 10, 2024. Upon arrival or before departure, passengers shall present their passports to the Immigration Officer for e-Travel registration confirmation and the QR Code to the Customs Officer for clearance.
