    I hope not.

The last time that there was an attempt at creating a German dominated federal Europe, many millions of innocent people were executed.

The Saudis have started the descent into a very slippery slope.......... The Shia community will mot take the execution very peacefully indeed.
For centuries there has been bad blood between the Shia and the Sunni sects and this has exacerbated the hate thousands fold..
We, in the west, will feel the repercussions of Saudi Arabia's ill judged action.

Keith, regardless how how one dresses this particular turkey up, nothing good can ever come from that neck of the woods..
I am not saying that the west hasn't behaved in a correct way in the past, but the level of barbarity that they seem to do unto each other and sundry, is beyond comprehension.
Christians have had their own bad spats centuries ago, but I don't think there was this wantoon lust for destroying life to the level we are experiencing nowadays with our middle eastern "friends"...

Big difference between the two. The Saudis executed those found guilty of crimes in accordance with the (Sharia) Law.

I suspect Diane Abbott, Labour's Shadow Foreign Secretary-in-waiting, fails to see the distinction though.
