Unfortunately, this seems to be the time of the year when scams are kind of overlooked because of the Christmas feel good factor.
Many people old and young, get taken for an expensive ride because they are either too naive or off their guard.

The rule of thumb is and always will be in this scammy matters, "if it sounds too good to be true, it most probably isn't"...:erm:

So wether you are thinking of answering thate-mail about untold millions waiting for you at "risky free" terms with easy "modalities", or thinking of buying them extra cheap UGG boots from the market stall, Or even if someone out of the blue, offers you a dream job, or a cheap and sure student placement for little money,
stop and think, reflect on what you are intending to do, if sure or unsure ask for advice from somebody else, and even if you are dithering a bit... Pull back...
Always play your cards right, and you will be safe.

You have worked hard for your money, so why give it to somebody that would rather cheat than go out to work like yourself...:erm:

I am not trying to patronize you and tell you how to use your money, it is yours, and yours alone, to do as you wish with... Just be careful on how you spend it, always....

Christmas markets are sprouting like mushrooms all over the country, and as I read somewhere, counterfeit goods are sold on a ratio of 4 on every 10.
The labels are so good that easily will pass for originals to the untrained eye.
You are much better off buying unbranded items as stocking fillers from places like those.

If you intend on investing on electricals, the only safe bets are the proper shops, where you can get proper warranties and guarantees, or exchanges or whatever.
    A market stall is a definite no-no....

Be careful out there, it is a jungle.

This is the time of year most scammers try their luck.. The old saying "if it seems too good to be true, it probably is" is always a good thing to live by!
