schengen visa

    Hello, is there anyone here that have done a schengen visa for France?
    Any useful link/ advice etc

    Only Spain and Portugal.

    they issued the visa the same day?

    nope it wasn't the same day, we have to come back for my passport. Make sure you have a self addressed envelope when you go as well. I seem to remember queuing on the first day, I was interviewed, they took my employment certificate, letter from my husband about our trip in France and that he is the one paying for it. Then paid using my credit card and was advised to report the following day. I'm not sure whether it's because i didn't meet the cut off time. I'm sorry I can't be too precise as it has been 7 years. But it was straightforward. Hope this helps.

    On both occasions, for Spain and Portugal, we had to provide them with a stamped addressed Special Delivery envelope for them to post the passport and visa back to us. Once our application was submitted, it took about 3 or 4 working days on each occasion.
