I hope to be there, but I will probably leave directly after the funeral ceremony. The church has disabled access.

The donating wouldnt create much of a problem if it wasnt tied to Sean Paypal account.

Thanks for the update Dom, like most of us I guess we would need to take a full day off, my employer is pretty good that way and this is a good amount of notice, I will do my best to attend.

Yeah we would need someone to volunteer a PayPal email address to collect the funds.

Absolutely gutted that I cannot attend and say 'See you later' to my friend. Were I able to afford it, I would certainly fly over for a couple of days. :(

I just received a message from Sean's sister Jo, in regard of the gathering after the funeral.

The family decided to celebrate Sean's life at the Melville pub, in Barton Road, Stretford. Manchester, M32 9RB

Members of the forum are welcome to attend, and if possible, please, do let us know, so they can have a rough count and prepare the buffet accordingly.

Unfortunately, at this moment in time, I cannot see myself being able to go, as I am due to be in Devon and haven't been able to find a replacement.
I will keep trying. This is not something I want to miss.

Hi Joie, we met once last year for a short time, this is Jim, I got a chance to speak to my boss today and I will be able to attend.

I will send you a private message with my full name.

We are all shocked and terribly saddened here Joie and can only offer our deepest condolences, personally Sean has been in my thoughts every day since.

Hello Joy, I never met Sean but it was a real shock when we received the news. I am attending the ceremony but not the pub afterwards. Like oss, I have sent you a message with my full name.

I hope you can find consolation in your new found friends in the UK and that you can move on with your life, whatever you decide to do. I hope this forum will keep going in Sean's name.

Is anyone else going to Sean's funeral tomorrow. I am definitely going to the funeral service but it seems I may be the only person representing British Filipino. I won't been going to the pub afterwards but heading the 100 miles back home straight after the service.

Unfortunately I couldn't get off from work. I just checked in at the Hotel in Exeter, and will have to spend the next 3 days at the Devon County Show. Nobody wanted to swap with me,the long drive south seem to put some of my colleagues off..
I have a long memory, tho....
