On behalf of @jhen Hi All, Been a few weeks since I last posted in the forum but checking everyday new posts. It has been a good 3 months sorting out the docs for my daughter's application and I think finally tonight I will submit the online application. The last bank statements that we are submitting was dated Sept 6 , I believed that as long as I submit the online application before the 28 day rule it will be alright. Did the same thing last year when I applied for her visit visa ..,and there was no problem with the docs.. As this is for settlement, does anyone here can advise me regarding this please. It is now or never...I have been so stressed out for the last three months over this and just want it over with. Best regards to All.
The 28 days is from when you submit the online application so you are cutting it fine, apply as soon as.
Jhen, Agree with Timmers on this. Hopefully you have already submitted and completed payment. If not then wait. Don't submit until you have the next statement. UKVI caseworkers have very limited discretion.
The 28 day rule. Does it mean that the appointment at VFS needs to take place during the 28 day period following the online application date and that relevant documents have to dated within that period?
No It means that your latest payslips and corresponding bank statements must not be dated more than 28 days old at the time of online application submission and payment.
