    Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, all those places I will always find awesome local food, Philippines I am generally disappointed.

    Thankfully Glasgow had some good Indian and Chinese Restaurants during my stay there in the early 80"s.

    What about:

    Good old Sheperds Pie or

    Sausage beans and chips

    Full English Breakfast

    Rice pudding.

    Sticky toffee pudding and custard

    Apple crumble and custard.

    Sunday roast and all the trimmings

    Fish and chips

    Etc etc etc

    Some great British foods there.

    And if cooked properly it can be excellent.

    None of this chicken boiled up with a jar of Tikka Masala "cook in sauce" thank you, a tandoor is essential for the best taste.

    Best served with a decent garlic chilli naan bread with freshly chopped garlic and red chillies.

    Spotted Dick and custard.

    Rhubarb pie and ice cream...

    Beef Wellington

    Some of the great home made british soups with fresh crusty roll and butter.

    Good old mince and tatties.
