What a palava eh? Variations on the name of the "leader" of Libya are really creating an issue for the media. Everyone seems to have their own spelling and good reasons for it. I was highly ammused, and entertained, when TV Patrol (TFC) yesterday spent a lot of time discussing if the spelling of his name is Gadhafi, Gaddafi, Kadafi, Kadaffi, or Qaddafi. Some other variations include Gathafi and Gadafy. Mmm. Quite interesting with lots of informative explanations. Thanks to Kuya Kim No conclusion though. Probably better to just call him by his first name, which is Moammar. Or is it Muammar or one of the other numerous spellings No offence intended.
