Hi to the single gal!
Yeah sorry. I did mean euphemism but I accidentally misspelt it.
Will it just be a 'phamism' after Brexit?
Maybe. To the single guys who replied - why don't you open a profile on Filipino cupid and watch the emails stack up. Got to be more exciting that trawling around on this forum. Single Filipina women in the UK are, as someone else put it, rare as hens teeth.
Spelt is a healthier kind of wheat...misspelt?..not sure.
Oh as rare as a hens knob ...
past tense: misspelt; past participle: misspelt
spell (a word) wrongly.
"‘siege’ had been misspelt as ‘seige’
I can understand that both of the above posts are jibes aimed at me, perhaps in retaliation for my remark so please let me explain.
I emailed the poster privately and earlier, explaining that no offense to her was meant. I feel that the term mingle is likely a euphemism when used by men in response to a thread of this type, particularly when such a post causes an influx of new members whose sole contribution has been to attach themselves to dating threads (and no offense is meant to the female poster here) like dogs surrounding a bitch on heat.
I personally would have messaged the ladies privately but hey, I respect you for just letting your laundry hang out there for the world to see. Yes, you've correctly guessed that I do not enjoy these types of threads and the responses they elicit.
However, welcome to the forum. I personally feel that a general introduction is in order though, wouldn't you agree?
