For anyone who may be attending. I will hopefully be there on the Sunday Grand Parade. http://www.cebu.gov.ph/article/sinulog-2015-schedule-activities/
The least you can do is postpone your trip until united gets rogered out of every competion going....
Have you also experienced a 4-hour walk just to get a ride home? Almost all roads are closed in Cebu City!
Some photographers get great places to setup their gear and now the ISO is getting very high as times go on enabling people to focus more easily in low light.. (Sony A7S is max 409,600 although this camera is aimed at people who like taking movies) which although is very noisy at the high end, shows how things are moving on.
I'm only a point and shooter with my Fuji EXR200 so the pics aren't comparable to anything mildly sophisticated I'm afraid. However I'll see if I can click a couple of decent ones off. If I can capture some vibrancy in the colours I'd be happy
That would be great HaloHalo - Colours are everywhere. I love the procession and it shows the Filipino people at their best - hard working and happy
I am not as accomplished at dancing as HaloHalo but I remember hearing "Pit Senyor" everywhere. Am I correct, Anne?
Joke lang Honestly though I'm not sure what the dance is but I am looking forward to the event. Hope the heat and/or rain don't ruin the day for us.
aposhark's suggestion would be a great idea! Two steps forward, one step backward. "Sinulog, syagit ug kusog. Ahhhhh!" is quite catchy Yeah. But according to some, it is strictly not supposed to be a greeting to people to say to one another but directly to Sto. Niño (Holy Child Jesus) meaning plea to the Lord. However, it has been practiced at present which changes it's meaning to 'one's plea to the Lord for other's well-being' which actually make sense.
