Hi everyone, my flr m was approved and I will share our experience. Appointment april 14, 2015 at 2pm Arrived at the ukvi at 1.30 but the security guy asked us to come back after 15 minutes. 1.45 we went to a security checks (just like how they do at the airport). After the checks we went to get a ticket number and asked to sit down and wait for our number to be called. After 10 minutes our number was called. When we get to the place where our number was blinking a very nice chatty lady asked how we are. After all the chit chat she asked for our application form (april 2015), payment receipt, passports and my old brp (tier 4). After that she checked our application form making sure we filled out all the important section. After she went to take a photocopy of our pasaports and my brp and as soon as she gots back she asked for all the supporting documents we want to use for the application. The documents we gave are as follows: My birth certificate Marriage certificate Ielts certificate My husbands payslip (6 months) Husband's bank statement (6 months) P60 (2013 to 2014) Correspondence letters 6 on my name 6 on his name and 2 joint with all the same address Tenancy agreement After she gave me back my passport with a ticket number for the biometric After 15 minutes we were called for my biometrics. After biometrics the guy who took it asked us to wait until my biometric is verified After 10 minutes the security guy told us that my biometrics is fine and we can leave the building and they will call me when the documents are ready for collection. We Asked how long will it take and he said maximum of 3 hours. We left the building exactly 3pm. And at 4pm i received a call that our documents are ready for collection and we must come back asap at the building (this freak me out i thought something wrong with our application as its too soon its only 1 hour since left) We went straight away at the ukvi office and we went through security checks again and after we went straight to collect our documents. And yeeeessss Iys approved. We left the building jumping up and down
The ASAP was possibly because they don't accept anyone through the doors after 4:30pm, that's the case in Liverpool anyhow. Well done
A P60 is what we receive from HMRC (tax office) at the end of each tax year which runs April to the end of March, it is proof of what money we have earned, how much National Insurance we have paid and how much tax we have paid. It is a very useful document as far as proving earnings and so on, a very useful official Government document for visa applications.
Thanks for the info Timmers! So this is what is needed for the Spouse Visa application aside from the 6 months payslip from the current job of my husband? Does the P60 indicate the total gross salary for the whole year? To simplify, this P60 will tell the Home office that my british husband has a long term work from his current company aside from the current 6 months payslip?
P60 is like ITR (Income Tax Return) back at home. Yes, you are correct, it shows the total gross salary for the year.
Hi, what does Flr stands for? In the list provided above, written is p60 (2013-2014), is this a mandatory requirement to be submitted for the application? does this p60 need to show that gross annual earning meets the requirement of £18600 for the year 2014? Me and my husband is applying for spouse visa in the UK anytime soon, we are just waiting for the completion of his 6 months payslips. we just needed further clarification when it comes to the P60 document. one last thing, correspendence letter, are these what we call form of communication documents?
Not so sure, to be honest. My then fiancé and I waited for his P60 to arrive before we applied last year.
FLR means Further Leave to Remain or sometimes called an extension of the visa. Others call it spouse visa if one has applied for fiancé/fiancée visa as entry clearance. P60 is one of the most important proof of the sponsor's salary for 1 whole year. correspondence letter, are these what we call form of communication documents? -- Yes.
