It was England when I woke up this morning, Keith.

I am using a VPN so that is why I could see it in the UK.

That's interesting Mike. May I ask, does anyone else routinely use VPN and if so, why?

I do use one but purely to get on the office network on the unfortunate occasion I have to :D

I have an annual subscription to the Private Internet Access VPN, I don't use it that often, but not expensive.
    • Privacy is important, especially when downloading movies or using torrents.
    • Being able to appear in another country can be handy due to geographical restrictions imposed by some sites.
    • Speed can be improved, I don't understand this one, but on several occasions when the wifi in a hotel is a strong signal but barely useable internet speed, I have switched to using my VPN and had significant speed increase.
Reminds me, I need to find a live stream of the Grand National tomorrow. [IMG]

When my wife was living in Dubai she used a VPN to access movie download sites and websites that are forbidden in the UAE.

And like HaloHalo I used to have a VPN for communicating with HO and to be on their telephone network.

Filmon worked OK for the Grand National, no VPN needed. I seem to remember having problems with it last year.

One of the few sporting events I always try to watch live.

Unfotunately I missed it. The Grand National is one of those yearly events that gets everyone chatting about the chances of their selected horse.

Ive only been to the Aintree event once but it was a fantastic day out.
