Hello and have a good day to everyone here...I am
Gracie James a new member here I am a filipina from Cagayan Valley Philippines and I am here in West Yorkshire UK now. I am hoping to gain some friends and hope to get some information about Spousal visa. My first visit here was 2013 (tourist) then followed by Marriage visa (2014) then now (2015) I am on Family visit to be with my husband.
I joined this forum to seek some advice/s for the next step ... is it possible for me to take the English Test while I am here in the UK? My husband and I plan to go back next year so he personally apply but sad were both confused...
As a part of the criteria, he must have a job with pay slips at least 6 months so hes working there now for 8 months...what are the other requirements?proofs? to bring or to provide for the Spousal visa application? I am hoping for your responses soon thank you and may God bless you all.x.x.x

Welcome to British Filipino, Gracie! Hope you're enjoying the UK as much as I do. :)

You're lucky being granted with a visit visa as many have had not so good experiences in their application. Anyway, I assume you already know that you have to go back to the Philippines to apply for the Spouse Visa. You're husband is the sponsor and YOU are the applicant. There's no need for your husband to attend the visa application centre of your choice.

For the English Test, yes, you can take it whilst you are still here in the UK. You might find this updated link of approved English Test helpful:
    https://www.gov.uk/government/uploa...e_English_Language_Tests_and_Test_Centres.pdf

You can also read through the steps UKVI provided in applying for spousal visa. The requirements can be seen in the 'documents to provide' part.
    https://www.gov.uk/join-family-in-uk

All the best with the application and enjoy the rest of your stay here. :)

I posted my documentation list here:

    http://www.british-filipino.com/ind...successful-category-f-visa-application.11096/

Your husband (who is your sponsor) needs to earn at least the 18,600 financial requirement in Appendix FM-SE. If he is a regular salary PAYE employee applying under category A(see appendix FM-SE) then in the 'financial details' part you will just be submitting: 6 months bank statements to match 6 months company wage slips. P60 if available (again see appendix FM-SE for the definitive list). My financial details part was different because I run a company. The rest of the stuff (regarding accomodation, proof of relationship, supporting docs such as TB test , language test ) will however still apply to you.
