If your applying for spouse visa some extra things you should know

From your spouses appointment in manila to submitting your application you have 10 days to submit all your paperwork

Beaware when sending everything royal mail special delivery i booked a 24 hour delivery via parcelforce as ny cost was £50 to send all my documents and it took 5 days to arrive with the address being a po box

The visa consultant I am using recommends NOT to use Royal Mail. Fedex is about £60 but worth it.

Might be off topic but we applied for a fiance visa and I used Royal Mail to send the supporting documents - used a priority mail with signature tracking. Paid £30 altogether

Sent it on a Friday (6 April) and it was delivered to Sheffield on a Monday (9 April).

Although we haven't received any email notifications from UKVI or had the original documents sent to us back yet.

I think it would be fine as long as you have provided enough evidence of your employment/financial capabilities like certified copies of your payslips and bank statements in the last 6 months, letter of employment, etc. in the supporting documents you've sent to Sheffield.

I agree. Technically he is employed at the time of the visa submission.

I used Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed 1PM. Sent it Monday almost closing time (5:10PM). They informed us that it will be delivered Wednesday already as the courier will pick it up the following day. Wednesday, I checked it was already delivered and signed. Thursday, the HO got the payment (debit card). It was sent to a PO Box too. But it was like 2 days only.

Paid £22 return envelope included. They weighed it. 1.3kgs. I think it's cheaper if 1kg only.
