Hi all! Myself and my wife now have all the necessary documents to process our spouse visa application. What I would like to know, if anyone has been through the same process before we submit the online application, is it just a case of submitting all the documents to the embassy in Manila and how long would it take before we hear if the application is approved? I am currently in the UK while my wife is in the Philippines. I am planning on returning back to the Philippines in November for a month and we are hoping we can both travel back together. Kind regards, Lee & Grace
sadly--spouse settlement visas are now taking 3 months + to process---even if you pay extra for priority service ( which is a joke now ). you need to create an a/c and apply online.--heres a link https://www.visa4uk.fco.gov.uk/home/welcome that will keep you busy !
3 months? That's bad news Now we will have to decide what the best option is whether I should still go the Philippines in November and come back alone or now wait till the new year? We have already created the account at visa4uk. Thanks for the advice anyway bigmac...much appreciated.
Another question...would it make any difference if the documents are submitted here or in the Philippines?
as sponsor---all your documents go to sheffield...together with appendix 2 https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/270484/VAF4A-Appendix2.pdf your wife prints her copy of the Vaf application form--and takes it to VFS with her passport and relevant documents.--inc TB test and IELTS
Hi, I read a lot of your posts on the forum and you give good inputs. I hope you could also help me. I am applying for a spouse visa and my scheduled lodging of my documents is on October 16,2017. My documents are scanned copy sent via email by my husband. The documents- like proof of ownership are certified by the solicitor- but what I have is a scanned copy. Will this be okay? Thanks
