I am confused about a question on my spouse visa application from the Philippines to UK. It asks

Are you a national of the country in which you are applying? (Are you a national of the country in which you are making your visa application?)

    Yes
    No

Does this mean I'm I a national of the country in which I am applying. In which case it would be Yes I am a nation from the Philippines.

    or

Does this mean I am a national of the country in which I am applying. I am applying to the UK and I am not a national.

    Confusing question?

    Thanks in advance.

Clearly you are not a British National. If you were, you would not need a visa. :)

The question is asking whether you are a national of the country (where you are right now) when making your application. If you are making your application from the Philippines, it wants to know whether you are a national of the Philippines.

Thanks for the help. Yes I was thinking that @ChoiAndJohn just wanted to make sure. Can you advise if we need SU07/12? I am applying as a spouse not a grandparent, parent or other depended ? Im sure I dont need the SU07/12 but want to check for sure.

I'm unsure about the Spouse / Partner section under Family Details. Is that my information or my husbands. I can see under it it asks for Father and Mother, Children. Im just unsure if its is my information to go in spouse or my husbands. Screenshot attached.

It's important to remember that all the writing in this form are to be filled in "as the filipino applicant" and that this form I'd intended to cover a variety of situations. It asks for your spouse details who is British and who happens to be your sponsor. So put them in there.

And no you don't need the su07 form. Even if you have kids.
