I had a conviction for road rage and it was not a problem don't worry about it, however losing your job could be an issue as I think they will contact your employer. Maybe other members can advise?

My employer was never contacted but I did have a letter from my employer confirming where I worked, length of service and pay.
I don’t think losing your job after you applied will be too much of a problem as long as you satisfied the requirements at time if application. So long as they don’t ask for more financial information when they are processing the application.
