At present I'm in the philippines visiting my gf (well to be honest we are now engaged I brought a ring over with me and after getting permission from her mum it's onward and upward)we was planning on getting married in the philppines but are now hoping to get married in the uk. After zipping around this site I think we need to complete the following Register online at UK visa download the spouse form and print off and complete with supporting evidence ie plane tickets pictures skype viber messages. I also complete the sponsor form with supporting evidence and accommodation paperwork. Debs has to complete the English test does that need to be completed before we submit the paperwork. I may have made it sound like a two minute job and I am fully aware it's not easy and very time consuming and stressful. Yes, she will need the English test certificate before she applies, in addition to this she will need a TB certificate as well. Some of the recent applicants have had their applications done and dusted in a month from submission, but if I was you I would use three months for planning purposes just to be on the safe side. Congratulations on the Engagement by the way Note that you will not have to pay the new NHS surcharge if you bring your loved one here on a Fiancé visa, you will pay that when you apply for the FLR(M) after you are married in the UK.
