Hi to all.. just a little bit confused, Marilou submitted her visa application at VFS Global in Cebu on the 10th May, we opted into the SMS update service, on the 11th may Marilou received an SMS stating.. " The visa application for GWFXXXXXXX was forwarded to UKVI on the 5/10/2016 " no news since then until today.. we opted in for the PV service so decision can take up to 10 days.. so today we received an email stating.. " The processed visa application for GWFXXXXXXX was received at the UK Visa Application centre on the 5/17/2016 " if a courier service was purchased from VFS Global your processed application will be delivered to the chosen address , if not your documents can be collected during the designated collection times " so im not sure if UKVI are saying they have just received the application from VFS which has took 7 days to receive or its already been processed ?? we chose to pick up the documents/passport etc at VFS in Cebu.. No mention of a decision or anything just a little bit confused as to whats going on ??
It means a decision has been made on your application and was received by VFS. You should be able to get an update via email and SMS when your passport and documents are ready for collection.
Same situation with us. However, we didn't receive an email stating that it's been forwarded, just the email saying that it's been received by the UK Visa Application. I know we still have to wait for the other email regarding about the decision has been made and when it's ready for collection. The pain of waiting. I just hope everything is okay.
Hmm still waiting for our decision.. today is the 13th day since submitting out application for the PV.. I emailed UKVI on the 17th and got the following reply on the 18th...
If you opted for document pickup, there's no harm in going there to check if they are ready to collect. I know someone who recently applied for the PV service too and received same email (without advise that documents are ready for collection). She just went there the next day to check and she got her visa and documents back.
