Submitting documents - 'doubling up'...

Just wondering what the general consensus of opinion is on this...

One of the required documents for my wife's next FLR(M) is 'Evidence of Council Tax for where you live/intend to live'

It just so happens that our local council is one of the official bodies that I have managed to get correspondence from, addressed to us in both names (goodness knows I have tried!!!)

Can we use the SAME Council Tax bill as one of our '6 items of correspondence' in joint names at the same address, over the last 2 years? If so, do we send 2 copies of each - 1 to fulfil each criteria in the required documents - or would one copy be accepted to fulfil both requirements? TIA

I wonder how zealously they check for 6 items of correspondence? If you meet all other requirements, it would be Kafkaesque to deny on this basis.

Our council tax is also in joint names. I only submitted this once but made sure to point out in the description that it was in joint names. The only other correspondence in joint names were our Octopus Energy bills (I say "our" even though I paid it 100% of the time) which was also submitted once.

All other postal communication would have been either in my sole name (my bank statements, mortgage) or Mrs R's sole name which included nonsense like Amazon invoices, Tesco Clubcard etc.
