It was the summer of 1984 and it was my very first experience of a newish local event the Yokohama Jazz Festival. The warm summer night,the ice cold Kirin beer,fabulous music and the wonderful company of very special friends almost made it a romantic memory. Then it happened........................that perfect moment.................the creation of a perfect, unforgettable, indelible romantic memory. A really great singer from the local US base at Yokosuka began his stint of Peabo Bryson songs. Right from the start the huge crowd took notice and began to move towards the stage. Me included. They just don't write songs like that anymore. Anyway I just heard something on the local radio and it brought back all those memories and emotions I'm talking about Peabo Bryson - "If ever your in my arms again" Just want to share with you here:-
