    Result of the times.

    The people love the Beatles music in my experience, even today.

    Very true on both counts. I'm sure the result of that interview would have been different at another time. They didn't want to entertain Imelda, full stop.

    Yes and all this was prior to the Marcos dictatorship, he was in his first elected term at that point.
