Cheers Timmers its exciting now leave here on 10th April come back a married man then have her over here by August hopefully
Enjoy the wedding, forget about the spouse visa for now, that comes later and will not be a problem for you.
I hope you can do it that quickly. There is a way of getting a marriage registered quickly with the NSO but I have no read up about that yet.
Hi Howerd Im in a good spot as Juby has a friend who works in the local judges office where we are getting married and she is pushing things along nicely for us and our timetable is this Arrive Manila sunday the 12th April Appointment in Embassy for affidavit booked for the morning of the 13th Arrive at civic office in Dagupan morning of the 14th and get the NSO paperwork signed off and submit the NSO forms I am told that these can be returned by courier within 7 working days (this is where Jubys friend comes in chasing and tracking progress!! ) Attend the required seminar Marry on the 25th Very optimistic and very tight but Ive been assured its doable. Im taking with me my pack of papers for submission with the visa application Ive put my list on another thread and from our wedding date to August we have 18 weeks for the process! Any pointers from anyone to help us along always welcome
Good luck, everything will be fine, enjoy the respite and do not worry about the Spouse visa afterwards, it will be easy.
My wife and I married in a civil ceremony over there in 2008 and did everything in 6 weeks including time together after the wedding. Hope it all goes well for you and your fiancée, John. One month to go
