    Yeah, I think the problem is that humans are not good at scale, Geology is great for showing us how poor we are in that sense.

    And you never know maybe one line survived in a certain long body of water ;) :D

    Yes, it's still up for grabs whether the Deccan eruptions did it or the ultra hard to pronounce Mexican meteor at Chicxulub.

    The Deccan events should have totalled this planet, god knows how complex life survived.

    (maybe not mexican :))
