Theresa May: It's OK, we also give them aid

Theresa May was quick to defend her Government's cash cow, aka the Saudi Arms Deal, by saying that the UK also provides "significant aid" to the Yemenis who are being killed by British manufactured weapons.

Sadly, an estimated 20 million Yemenis are in urgent need of humanitarian help, whilst thousands have been killed. The UK Government is actively supporting the Saudi-led airstrikes that are causing misery to millions, and death to thousands. The Saudis have been accused, in the past, of targeting civilians.

83% of UK Arms exported (£900m) go to Saudi Arabia. The UK has also struck a deal worth £100m with a questionable regime in Turkey.
