    Hi everyone

Apologises to all for my complete lack of activity on here for the last month (it has really flown by) but I've been really, really busy at home again whilst on leave. 4 weeks at home really isn't long enough to do what I need to do. And its going to be the same next leave I think as well.

Anyway I had to go on a course in Aberdeen for 4 days and came home to carry on with my shower room which is working now but about 75% completed. I then ripped out the bathroom and got that ready to decorate and install a new suite next time home, (also got the hole in the kitchen ceiling repaired from where my dad fell through it. Only his leg mind!). By the time I'd finished everyday and had my dinner I rarely had the energy to log on, so as you can probably guess I now at work for a well earned rest and will hopefully be a bit more active for the next few weeks at least!

Like the new style to the site by the way, very nice on the eyes.

At the moment, I don't envy you the DIY at all.

I used to do lots of it in another life, and enjoy it. but age has been catching up, and although I have a vast collection of tools, bits and pieces, they now are sitting forlornly in the attic, waiting for something to come up..........

I'm starting to wish I'd brought a newer house as every leave I'm knocking my arse out for 21 of my 26 days off. This is the second house I've brought that I'm basicaly gutting and its starting to wear a bit thin! Things will start to slow down now though as our plans have changed and we'll keep the house empty when we move to the phils. We've decided that even though we could about £800/month in rent we don't want anyone in who could potetionaly wreck all of our hard work. It looks as though we'll still be able to use our house in the UK as long as itys not our main residence. Because of this I'm going to finish the work I've started and then as and when we come back for hols I can do a little bit more.
