Hope you guy's like the new layout to the site? There are two options, fluid and fixed (with a third for mobile browsing, but that is pretty basic). The fixed style is what you will find as a visitor and if you prefer then you can select the fluid style. I have also reverted back to the stock vbulletin post icons. Or do you prefer the glossy letters and paper looking ones? I can revert back to them too, was just thinking what makes more sense.. Perhaps like this or like it was before?
Well, it certainly rings MY bell!! I like it! Al.:england: P.S. Why can't I upload a photo for my profile? I've managed to get it down to 18.4kb but it still fails to load.
So what do you guys think of the logo? Is it too big? I had used the same size logo as before (literally copied it to this style) but it felt too small.. But how does it feel on your monitors? As for that picture issue Al, I will get onto it.
I meant I see your profile picture. With the Cowboy hat.. Though only members see that.. Do you see it? How about others?
The new layout is very pleasant on the eye. The text seems bigger and clearer, unless it is my imagination. The forum loves to to advertise dating sites - from all around the world! Today I have seen a Filipino dating site, a Chinese dating site and a Latino site!
Thanks Yeah, some text sizes have gone up.. As for the adverts, dating advice is one of the tags added to the site so we do get those adverts. Though I might try and remove those ones. I mean, we are all here as we usually already have a Filipino partner. Update: Just blocked dating adverts
Just notice a new feature in Google Chrome to only run plug-ins when I click on them! All the adverts then magically disappear!
The ads have flash content, so I set plug-ins: 'Click to play'. But to ensure Chrome is still updated automatically, it is necessary to 'allow' the Google update plug-in to run automatically.
Well, personally I don't have the ads on mine. That's because if I click on them I am breaking Google's T&Cs. So to stop the odd mis-click I too disable
