    Hi all.

does anyone know the present timescale for uk spouse visa in manila(july 2015).my sister in law in manila completed her spouse visa appln and handed all the necessary documents over to the british embassy in manila just over a month ago.does she now just wait until they text/email her or can she contact them.i heard somewhere that it can take up to 90 days for a uk spouse visa.the waiting is getting unbearable for my brother and her - they were married in January and cannot bear being apart.
    thanks so much,sandygen

Yes. It can take that long. It is down to a bit of luck really, as to how soon it is processed.

No. It all goes quiet until they release the result.

Also, you cannot judge by elapsed time, what the result will be.

It is just a waiting game, unfortunately.

Took my wife 8 weeks from submitting it in Cebu to actually getting her passport back in her hand. That was this year

    HI EMERLYN

Many thanks for that bit of info. I thought that they did not like you asking anything about your visa application - have been told they get a bit annoyed if you ask any questions about the status etc.kind regards, sandygen
