Yes I've seen a bit of footage about him, seems a legendary cyclist.

Shame I'm sure your mother went to a lot of effort.

You should be alright with all the documents you have. They don't really ask much about the girlfriend/wife/fiancee's accounts. I know this because I have friends and they are Filipino couples, they only ask for his account details and sponsorship. My other friend, she is from Cebu has a British boyfriend for 4 years and she travels with him to UK every time they have opportunity to visit, they don't ask for her bank account but they do ask about her employer which is her Auntie, she also work for the family and the employer's letter don't have proper company headers just plain A4 stating she is working with their family business and receive a regular monthly salary and she is due for her holiday.
    Good luck!

Wow that sounds promising, she seems to have it easier than many are suggesting, does she have property and or much money?

NO! she doesn't have properties as she is just selling souveniers in her Auntie's little store. I doubt she has any savings as she is the bread winner to her family and she is still sending her 2 siblings to school and always talking about looking for another job that can make her in a better position. But her boyfriend do help her a bit financially.

Thank's, really interesting, it's funny how some people say, "impossible, you can never get a tourist visa"

Then others say they have absolutely no problem at all even with no savings, wonder if it's just how the ECO is on the day.

I know! Funny system because I know a friend's relative tried to visit UK as well and she is well prepared with properties etc included in her application (which is fake and was done in Recto) and she has British husband but she was denied! I guess they do verify documents you submit to them if it is legit or not! I think it's better to be honest submitting official documents if you manage to get through once, you may not in the second time and it may back fire on you if not on the spot some other time! And falsifying documents and any information is a serious offence to any government official.

Very unlikely. They're looking for reasons for you to want to go back. I don't see any at all (from their perspective) in your circumstance. But as above, it is worth a shot. You might run into a very laid back ECO! And the fee isn't that steep. At least it was only P5000 when I was considering it.

You - not your boyfriend - must provide UKBA with compelling reasons to return to the Philippines at the end of your permitted stay in the United Kingdom. The fact that you don't own your residence, have no job, bank account or savings and that you are solely reliant on your boyfriend for your daily needs does not help you. UKBA would, I suggest, take the view that, on the balance of probabilities, you would overstay your visa since it may be cheaper for your boyfriend for you to do so.

Again, I don't think property owned by your parents is going to be useful evidence for 'reasons to return'. You would need property in your own name. Have you ever travelled abroad before? I would just go for it anyway. It is a shot to nothing given the visa fee. You might get lucky. You can read the 'guide to supporting documents' for the visitor visa here: http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitecontent/documents/out-of-country/visitors.pdf it would seem advisable to submit as much as you can for what is suggested here. Good luck.

Well, head over to VFS Global in the Philippines: http://www.vfs-uk-ph.com/ click on Book an Appointment, pay the fee, submit the documents at the visa centre in Makati (near Magellenes MRT) and wait a few days for the outcome.

or forget about the UK and apply for a shengan visa and have your holiday with your boyfriend in Spain or Italy, or Morroco where you dont need a visa at all:like:

Morocco is a good shout. Remember though, if you go down this route, bring evidence of your relationship to the airport. Any pictures he has with your family, a letter from him confirming the relationship etc etc. If you don't, they will not allow you to fly. I was caught out with this when wanting to bring my then girlfriend on a holiday to Hong Kong.
