With the associated problems for the wife getting a Schengen visa, I have been considering a trip to a couple of places where she can get a visa on arrival at the airport. However, I was wondering where Filipinos stand if they embark on a cruise, say departing from Southampton, cruise the med and then return to Southampton. I realise she would not be allowed to leave the ship at ports but I wondered if anyone has done this without all the hassles of getting a visa. My mind is thinking that she could do the cruise, stay on board and just relax while I went ashore (ha ha, I’m sure that would happen !!)
Better idea: stay home and save money. Wait till she gets her British passport and you will be all set.
Your wife would require a Schengen visa even if she stayed on board the whole cruise. There are places she can get into visa free the nearest is Morocco. If you Google Filipinos travel without visa various sites will come up many are broken down into the categories Visa required Visa on arrival Electronic visa No visa required (many Asian countries offer this and you have to balance air fare hotel costs and cost of living versus 2 weeks on the Costa Blanca or a cruise)
Can't help yourself can you, It was joke. Can you not stick to your dislike of Man City and myself to your so called banter in the football threads. SIC
