I may have the possibility of some shore side work in Indonesia for a few weeks and I'm hoping to take the missus. I've looked about and as far as I can see she doesn't need a visa for a "holiday" there, is this correct? She's in the UK on a philippine passport with ILR visa.

Not really, she's insisting she wants to go, lets just say she has some (unjustified) trust issues with me going to work shore side in S.E.A!! Anyway turns out that I've knocked back the job because of financial reasons. Basically by the time I'd have flown the wife over, put the dog in a kennel I'd have only got a hundred quid a day or so, so it ain't worth it. Pity really as it could have led on to other things. Maybe in the future when everything calms down I might look at it again.
