The crazed one .... who's made at least one visit to the UK since he was elected ... who has just as much right to enter and live in the UK as both my Brit-Fil sons .... who, as POTUS, wants to sign a good and fair trade deal with us rather than Obama's failed TTIP which would have enslaved EU citizens to corporate America. That crazed one, okay ...

Oh Mark - have a word with yourself man.

Do I really have to list the dozens of blatant lies he's told - and how publicly paid minions like Spicer, Conway & Huckabee do his bidding in the same manner?

Do I have to draw your attention to the latest healthcare proposal from the GOP that would remove cover from 22 million of America's poorest.

FBI boss sacking / Russia / China flip flop.

    Sexist, racist, mysogynist.

    Petulant, egotist.

Genuinely susprised an intelligent person such as yourself (albeit misguided :p) could be a Trump fanboy!

Btw - I too oppose TTIP - but if you think Trump's opposition is based on a desire to protect EU citizens' interests your political antennae need recalibration.

It appears to be Trump who is saying he won't come unless he's guaranteed a warm welcome. #Needy

Are we as a nation so lacking in self belief and pride that we have to kow tow in a suppine, sychophantic, manner to this reality TV fraud?

So basically what you're saying is that those of us with some moral compass should, collectively, say schtum so HMG cab roll out the red carpet? Well I beg to differ.

This is Great Britain you know - not fecking North Korea. (Ironically Trump's megalomaniacal behaviour & ego is much more redolent and akin to NK's personality cult leader.)

Not suggesting for one minute we kow tow,in anyway shape or form
my morale compass is fine thanks
and I am aware its Great Britain, and I am very proud of my English heritage along with my British heritage

What the government of the day has to do is find a way to continue to influence the events of the world, sometimes this includes meeting people that we detest and despise but who are influential at the end of the day .

    An interesting article is attached

So - cutting to the chase - do you think Donald Trump is a force for good in this world - someone who will leave a positive legacy for his own citizens and the wider world?

Who me I doubt he or many many people would give 2 hoots about my opinion.
But seeing as you ask my view is someone who will go down in American history, but then again so did Nixon.

I am sure that the strong and stable government led by Theresa May will have no difficulty in laying on the specified warm welcome.
